  The Online Tutor option enables teachers to support students over the Internet. When a student requests help with a Tutorsystems lesson, a teacher can respond with text and voice chat while seeing a copy of the student's lesson screen. The teacher's copy shows correct answers highlighted. The teacher can navigate through the entire lesson independently of the student, then resynchronize to the student's lesson screen with a single click. The Online Tutor option is great for times when students and teachers can't be in the same place at the same time.

  The Automated Student Guidance (ASG) feature applies teacher-specified limits on students' freedom of navigation within a lesson. Teachers can configure the software to prevent "gaming behavior," whereby students try to "beat the system" rather than trying to learn from the lessons. The Assignment, Selection, and Mastery (ASM) features help keep students focused on the right task at the right time, while allowing teachers to focus on their students by spending less time on administrative activities.

  Best of all, these new features can be enabled with a single click on the "Reset Defaults" button of the Configuration options.
