"We have been using the BLS STAT series since 1989 with our at-risk students (levels 6-12) and our JTPA students (ages 14-18). Many of these students receive remediation in all three subject areas (reading, math, and grammar), and realize gains of 1-5 years during a 36-week period. The software's tutorial approach, print screen option, percentage scores, and modular design assure success. I have found the BLS record management system to be one of the best I've seen. The correlations allow us to assign lessons based on individual skill deficiencies; this really helps with exit exams."
